American Citizen Services Hours

American Citizen Services Hours are Monday to Thursday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., except for American and Albanian holidays.

In case of emergency, please call the Embassy's duty officer at +355-(0)4-224-7285 thru 89. Emergency services include the event of a death, arrest, or life-threatening illness of U.S. citizens.

According to the U.S. Embassy in Tirana's policy, visa inquiries can only be addressed in writing to ensure accuracy in answering. No inquires will be taken during American Citizen Service Hours.

Filing the I-130 petitions

Effective March 20, 2007, U.S. citizens residents in Albania, may file the I-130 petition with our section. Click here for more information.
